We are a group of kids from ages 10 to 13 from Fun in the Sun, a summer learning program in Santa Barbara, California. We made a blog of our field trips and stuff we learn about the environment. Trees get cut down 3 billion to 6 billion trees per year. Redwood trees get cut down. Companies and Corporations cut down trees. Stop using up paper and other resources. People cut dow trees for paper and wood for houses.
Rafael, Agustin, and Sebastian - Wow! I didn't know so many trees were being cut down every year! That is amazing and very sad. Facts like that make me especially interested in recycling, how about you? Maybe we should plant some special Fun in the Sun trees somewhere! Or even better, maybe we could send some letters to big paper companies asking them to plant some trees! You all are doing a wonderful job!
